When designing Nokia 1 the key values where to create an iconic design that expresses familiarity and reassurance manifested through the characteristic Nokia ‘Smile’ and friendly soft footprint and cover. The device is robust with its window frame made of an insert moulded metal structure and glass-fibre reinforced polycarbonate. The removable cover is offered in a multitude of colours allowing consumers to personalise their device.
